About knife crime

Knife crime is any crime that include knife.The behaviours that belong to knife crime are: First,people under 18-year-old buy knives.Second,Those who threat others with using knives.Third,those who murder using knives.Fourth,those who do robbery with using knives.People can protect themselves with using knives,but they can not use knives to commit crimes,actually people are more easily be hurt by knives.It is good for people who want to protect themselves to learn some courses which can help them avoide being hurtted by knives.If one want to by a knife,he or she must know some rules,or he or she may be caught to prison.The rules are listed as following:

• It is illigal for any shop to sell knives to teenagers who are under 18 years old.
• It is the crime that one bring a knife without a good reason.
• If an adult carry a knife and bu caught,the maximum penalty is that he or she will be put in prison for 4 years and be finned for 5000 pounds.
• For those who sell knives that the government banned,they are doing illigal things and break the law.

Selling some knives are illigal such as sword-sticks,hand-sticks,foot-claws,kusari and so forth.

UK walfare system is much better than Chinese walfare system.For example,In China,Lots of people lose work everyday,but if they do not work in workplace such as companies,govenment,schools which are belonged to the nation,they never get retirement pension after they retire.If a Chinese loose the job,and he/she did not worked in a national workplace,he/she will never get any benefits.But in UK,people can get some money which are given by the government after they loose jobs.Give you another example,In China,If one is ill,he/she has to see doctor with money,if it is necessary to buy medicine,he/she have to buy the medicine which is very expensive by him or herself.Further,if one has to stay in hospital for treatment,it is very very expensive to do that that even common people fell tough to afford the money.But in UK,seeing doctors a free and people do not have to pay if the get disease and stay in hospital. 

headlines of Daily Mirror and Financial Times

We learnt something about newspaper last Friday.We knew that newspapers can be devided into two parts on the whole--popular newspapers and serious newspapers.We knew that broadsheets (also called quality newspapers)are read by educated people,and these kind of newspapers are focus on serious news.Tabloids are focus on human interest stories.

Newspapers such asThe Daily Telegraph,The Times,The Independent,Financial Times are all belong to the national broadsheet.Daily Mirror,Daily Mail,Daily Express,The Sun,The People,ect.are tabloid.


Different kind of newspapers have different headlines.Today I will compare the difference between the headlines of Daily Mirror and Financial Times.


Daily Mirror:It has simple stories such as celebrities,sports,games,etc.The headlines of Daily Mirror has many different colours,different font size，word size.Some of the words of the headlines are bold,some are italic.Some headlines are include different number of words.It is tricky..Many of the headlines of Daily Mirror use wordarts as well.


Financial Times:The headlines of many topics use the same font sizes,but the word sizes are different.In the More Stories column,the font sizes and word sizes are different than others.

COUNTRYFILE

Countryfile was a wildlife program which started at 7.00pm sunday.It showed us a beautiful landscape of Quantocks at the first beginnig of the program.It was green and sunny in this place and it contributed to many poems of the famous poet Coleridge.This poet wrote some poems about Quantocks which was so buautiful.The program took us to visit the working well Coleridge used and took us to see the pen Coleridge use,It seemed that pen with feather is easy to write.


The one of an host of the program made an investigation about the increasing price of food which gave big influence to every family in UK.For example,the price of bread increased 30% compared to the past.Because of grains' price increase,the food price increased.Increasing price of food was also caused by the bad weather.Big snow,rain,and wind damage the plant we grow,so the things we eat became less,so the price got higher.Rich countrys threw so much food every day,poor countries like Africa had so many people die everyday from starving.


Next,this program introduced some animals that we were familiar with.Giraffe ate branches,we saw how workers work to bring branches to giraffe.We saw how the seal was protected by people.We also learnt that how pigeon flied without using its eyes.Furthermore,we saw how students learned farming as interns on the farm...
Overall,I like this programme,wildlife is interesting.

Sports

Wembley Stadium which is Located in the London borough of Brent is one of the famous stadium.It has a long history.In the 19th century,it was the home  of cricket and football.At the first beginning,Wembley Stadium wsa known as the Empire Stadium.After the First World War,the stadium was developed into its former state.The major event was held here in 1923.The stadium has the magnificant style and affored the best of the seating that it has 90,000 seats for spectators.


People love to watch football games in Wembley Stadium.I love football either.Thus I would like to say something about the football in UK.Football is the most famous sport in Great Britain.It has been played in hundreds of years.Actually the true development of football came in Medieval Britan.1000 years ago,people played ball with their feet in UK,there was no rules and also no limitation of the number of people.It was a very violent game.In the year 1314,the  game was banned by the Lord Mayor of London.However,this act vas againsted by the public who like this game.By the end of th e14th centry,the term'football'was created and this kind of game was established in England and developed rapidly.


Nowadays,football becomes very popular,you can see people play football in parks and playgrounds.they play just for fun.Football is also Scotland's natiional sport.It is played widely on both a professional and amateur basis,Most cities and towns have a professional team.Even Scotland has a very small club football structure,you can see there still have lots of people play the game.The top level league in Wales is the League of Wales. there are the top three Welsh football clubs play in the English league system.The main Welsh Cup competitions are the Welsh Cup and the FAW Premier Cup. In Northern Ireland,The main league  is the Irish Football League, which is only open to Northern Ireland teams, it is opposed to the Republic of Ireland.


Also,there are some very unusual sports.such as Aunt Sally, Barrel Walking,Cheese-Rolling,Coconut Shy,etc.I prefer coconut shy.Every players has 6 balls,they use the balls to throw at targets of coconuts balanced on raised stands.The one who shoot the most targets can be the winner.People like to buy coconut in the supermarket to play this game.I love this game because I like coconuts,maybe after game,we can drink the coconut milk!This game can improve our reaction and maybe could improve our eyesight.


In China,There are also some unusual games that small number of people play.For example,bungee-jumping,it is really dangeous and uncommon,I never have the courage to play this game because I think life is terriblly important.haha:))

They married on 20 November 1947 at Westminster Abbey. Elizabeth and Philip received 2500 wedding gifts from around the world. They had eight bridesmaids and two kilted page boys in　their weddings. The nine-foot high, four-tier wedding cake, was made with ingredients given by Australian Girl Guides. The wedding cake was cut using The Duke's Mountbatten sword.
